2780028 - Cannot create an Extension Scenario to extend a Custom Node to a Web Service

You see the message 'No scenarios found' for your Custom Node when trying to extend it to a Web Service using the Process Extension Scenario.

• SAP Cloud for Customer.
• SAP Business ByDesign.
• SAP Cloud Application Studio.

Prerequisites:

• You have created a Custom Solution in the Cloud Application Studio.
• You have created an Extension to a Standard BO (.xbo).
• You have created a Custom Node on your Extended Standard BO.

Steps:

1. In the Solution Explorer, click Add New Item.
2. Choose Process Extension Scenario.
3. Select the Namespace of your Extended Standard BO.
4. Select the Business Object of your Extended Standard BO.
5. Select your Custom Node.

You encounter the following Message on the Create Extension Scenario Wizard:

This functionality is currently a limitation in System. Custom Nodes cannot be used in a Process Extension Scenario.
