2780201 - Standard Rate Calculation Error during Payout Request

Symptom

Error 'Standard rate calculated is equal to 0. Please maintain pay component configurations under compensation information and pay component group to calculate standard rate.' is encountered during time payout request.

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-checks:

  • Work Schedule is assigned on the employee's job information

  • Average Fields of the work schedule has been maintained

  • Time Account(s) should already exist and must have a sufficient balance for payouts

  • Compensation Information has already been maintained for the employee

  • User has necessary permissions for 'Access Time Workbench' and for 'Manage Payouts'

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Configure a payout pay component of type 'Amount' in Admin Center > Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures.

2. Configure a pay component group (PCG) and assign the pay component created in Step 1.

3. Enable time account type of the time account for payouts by setting Payout Eligibility=Yes then assign the pay component created on Step 1 on Pay Component of the time account type and pay component group to be equal to PCG created in Step 2.

4. Go to People Profile then click Administer Time link to access Time Workbench and click Account Payouts tab.

5. Click Add Payout button. Error related to standard rate calculation is received and standard rate cannot be calculated.

Cause

Base Pay/Basic Salary pay component maintained on Compensation Information is not assigned on the Pay Component Group used in the time account type.
