How to define promotion within Compensation forms which will be effective in Employee Central after publishing

SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Compensation > Actions for all plans
2. Navigate to Company Settings > Manage Company Settings > Compensation section > Check box for Enable Compensation-EC promotion integration:
   

   

3. Navigate to Admin Center > Set User Permissions > Manage Permission Roles
4. Select a role
5. Select the Permission... button
6. Under User Permissions, select Employee Central-Compensation Integration and check boxes for all company criteria:
   

   

7. Within the template xml set includeJobSelector="true"
   As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. Please engage a Certified Partner or SuccessFactors Product Support to implement the fix.

(Optional) You may also add in the following columns for promotion in Design Worksheet:

• Final Job Code
• Final Job Role
• Final Pay Grade
• Final Job Family

1. Follow the steps in Implementing and Managing Compensation - Adding and Deleting Standard Columns in the Compensation Plan Template
2. When these columns are added, set them as Read Only and Reloadable. If this is not done, you will receive an error message.
3. Map these to the same EC fields as their counter parts and select the EC Promotion category
• Note: Depending on implementation, Job Family, Job role and Job Code EC fields may vary

Note: If Field-Based Permissions (FBP) are enabled for the template, ensure users who will promote employees have the edit permission for ALL the final columns.

The columns below are all columns available for EC Promotion. If required, using payGrade and finalpayGrade would be sufficient.
