2780886 - No “Subscribe to Email” icon in Notification.

Symptom

When click to open Notification in the side menu, you find it doesn't have Subscribe/Unsubscribe icon that to subscribe notification to Email.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login with a business user.
  2. Click on Notification in the side menu.
  3. You find each Notification doesn't have Subscribe/Unsubscribe icon.

Cause

User is unable to view Subscribe/Unsubscribe icon in notification since related scoping question under Business Configuration is not maintained.

Resolution

To activate this function, please ask your administrator to do the following steps:

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
  3. Edit Project Scope
  4. Navigate to Questions step.
  5. Click to open “Communication and Information Exchange”.
  6. Select “Business Process Management” and open the first element.
  7. Please check question “Do you want to use e-mail to notify business users about Business Task Management items?”
