• Message no. CJ806 "PROJECTNAME is locked by draft version created by user USERNAME" occurs in the Project Builder app.

• Unable to edit a project due to message "Not all objects were locked (see lock log)”. The lock shows same user ID as user trying to edit the project - logging out of the system does not release the lock.

1. Run the Project Builder app.
2. Attempt to open a project (menu 'More' → 'Project' → 'Open').
3. The system issues error message no. CJ806 "PROJECTNAME is locked by draft version created by user USERNAME".

This is the expected behaviour when a draft version of the project exists or if the project (or object belonging to the project) is being edited by another user.

• Go to the Project Control app, check if a daft version exists for the affected project - it will show "Unsaved Changes by USERNAME".The draft version must be either activated or discarded in the Project Control app so that the project can become editable again in the Project Builder app.

• In the Project Builder app, it is also not possible for one user to edit a project if another user is editing the same project at the same time as this would lead to inconsistencies. By standard design, the complete hierarchy is locked downwards from the entered object. Be aware also that if a WBS Element is opened in Edit mode, the objects in the hierarchy above are also given a Read lock, which will prevent them being editable by other users.
