2781472 - You receive the error message "Survey cannot be Saved. Description is missing. Please maintain." when saving a survey

You have added a translation for the name of a survey. When saving the survey, the error message "Survey cannot be Saved. Description is missing. Please maintain." occurs and the survey is not saved.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Surveys work center.
2. Go to the Surveys view.
3. Open survey ABC (ABC represents the name of a survey which is in status In Preparation or Active).
4. Go to the Details facet.
5. Click the globe symbol beside the field Name.
6. Click Add.
7. Maintain a new name and language.
8. Click Update Language button.
9. Click Save button.

After clicking on Save button you receive the error message "Survey cannot be Saved. Description is missing. Please maintain.".

It is not possible to translate only the survey name. In order to save the survey, the questions must be translated too.

1. Go to the Design facet.
2. Open question DEF (DEF represents the name of a question).
3. Click the globe symbol beside the Question field.
4. Maintain a description for the language you have added previously.
5. Click Ok.
6. Continue with the next question if multiple questions are maintained.
7. Click Save button.
