2781707 - HANA System Running Slow

Symptom

  • Analysis of running statements, while CPU is high, shows that a Select * on table UKM_EXT_GUID, is not optimized.
  • It's noticed that the system is slow with jobs running long and getting stuck.
  • It's noticed that the connection to HANA Studio is very slow.
  • There is also High CPU.
  • Restarting the system helps to initially resolve the issue but it soon returns to a slow running state.
