2781719 - Default Value in Code List Restriction Is Not Working For Custom Field

Symptom

Defaulting in codelist restriction is not working for a custom field.

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a code list restriction for a  PDI/Custom field with default value.
  2. The default value doesnt come up for the field in UI.

Cause

For the default value to work roundtrip is required. For that the particular field "Requires roundtrip" property needs to be marked to true in UIdesinger.

Resolution

Partner should set the property in UI Designer.

  • Open UI Designer.
  • Go to Datamodel.
  • Select the particular field.
  • In Property "Requires roundtrip" should be set to "True".
