Internal to External Profile Conversion job is not converting internal profiles even though the employees are inactive and their profiles are non-purged inactive profiles .
Environment
SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) - All versions
Reproducing the Issue
1. Make the internal candidate profile inactive as per the standard process .
2. Configure the de-conversion job in Provisioning as per the standard configuration .
3 . Run the job to de-convert the inactive employee .
Cause
Candidate De-conversion job will not pick up inactive users that have a USERS_SYSINFO.USERS_SYS_LASTMODIFIED date < last Candidate De-conversion job run date.
If an error occurs during the de-conversion job, the inactive users will not be picked up for any future run of this job.
Resolution
As an expected behavior, if the de-conversion job fails due to any missing configuration, it won't pick the inactive internal candidate profile again if its last modified date is less than the last job run date.
It is recommended to update the last modified date of the inactive employee by following the below step -
Admin Center > Update User Information > Manage Users and modify any field to trigger an update of the last modified date for the user record.
