Symptom
When e-mailing candidates, the token [[CANDIDATE_EMAIL]] is pulling the contact e-mail of the candidate and not the primaryEmail (username) which the Candidates used when creating an account.

This is expected system behavior. [[CANDIDATE_EMAIL]] token will pull the contact e-mail of the candidate.
Currently there is no token availbale that can pull the value of primaryEmail (username) however Integration center can be used to run report to get the value of the primaryEmail (username) for the candidates, refer article 2591563 - How to run reports using the Integration Center - Recruiting Management
