2783690 - Mass Reject / Approve option not available in ME28 - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA.

Symptom

  • In transaction ME28 (Collective Release of Purchase Orders - POs), there is the option for mass release of POs from a given selection / search criteria, but for the overall job there is only execute / cancel, there is no rejection option.
  • Similarly, there is no mass Approval option also.
  • In transaction ME29N (Release PO) the rejection / approval option is present, but only for in the new Enjoy-based variant for single POs.
  • The requirement is to be able to mass reject / approve a selection of POs via ME28 in the same way.
  • Releasing multiple purchase orders at once is not possible in ME29N.
