2784171 - Cannot change "Post Automatically Only" option in app Manage G/L Account Master Data

When editing the G/L account master data in app "Manage G/L Account Master Data", the "Post Automatically Only" option is not available for editing.

The "post automatically only" attribute can be edited only for G/L accounts of "Account Group":
•Income Statement Accounts
•Materials Management Accounts

If settings different from those delivered with the SAP Best Practices reference content are needed, following procedure can be proceed. Caution: If you follow this procedure, you will change reference content settings and you will be fully responsible for the impact of this change.

1. In your configuration environment, create a new account group by copying the account group the G/L account belongs to.
   For information on how to create a new account group, see Defining Account Groups
   
2. In the settings for the new account group, navigate to the field status using this button: 
   
   
   
   
3. Select the Document entry group:
   
   
   
   
   
4. Change the Post automatically only setting to Opt. entry.
   
   
   
   
5. Save the changes.
   
   
6. In the Manage G/L Account Master Data app, assign the affected G/L account to the new account group.
   
   
7. Make the needed setting for the Post automatically only attribute.
