2784198 - Unable To Add Learning Activity In A Performance Form

• Add Learning activity link doesn't show under Development Objective section in Performance form
• Not able to add custom learning activity to Development Objective in Performance form
• The required permission to add/create development objective and learning activity has been given to employees role in the respective templates xml but still can't add development objective and learning activity in performance form

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. Login to the system. 
2. Proxy as an employee whose performance form you want to access
3. Select the Performance tab
4. Open the required form
5. Go to the Development section, could see the development objectives there. These development objectives would be coming from Development module as auto-sync would be set to true, however there is no option to add development and learning activity in the form.

The required permission to access Career Development Plan would be missing for the impacted employee.

Employees must have Career Development Plan Access Permission in his role to access Career Development and Learning Activities in a performance form or via Career Development Planning.

1. Go to the required role of the employee via Manage Permission Roles
2. Click on Permission and go to Career Development Planning
3. Enable Career Development Plan Access Permission, this permission gives access to CDP module, which is needed to add development and learning activity along with necessary xml permission.

Notes:

• If a user does not have access to the 'Add Learning Activity' link in the Development plan, they will also not have access to the link in a PM form. Permission to access Learning and Development templates can be found under 'Objectives' > 'Objective Plan Permissions' in the RBP role.
• Users can only edit/delete/add learning activities in a PM form and if they wish to launch a Learning item from LMS, users must go to their respective Development or Goal Plan.
