Symptom

When creating a job that uses SAP Data Services Odata adapter to read data via SuccessFactors OData API

as a souce, with an IN statemetn as a WHERE clause, you recieve the following error in the adapter logs:

Exception occurs when executing 'begin' method of the adapter operation with ID [##]. UNKNOWN is not supportted!
