Symptom

SAP is failing to start on IBM i but is not giving any errors.
- In the startsap log, there is something similar to:
- readInstInfoFromProfile: examining profile
"/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile/<SID>_<INS>_<hostname>".
collectSystemInfo: acknowledge as valid instance: <SID>_<INS>_<HOSTNAME>. - The profile mentioned here does not match the SID, instance name or hostname in your system, or what is found in /SAPMNT/<SID>/profile.
- Possibly, /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/PROFILE is showing as a DIR instead of a SYMLINK (option 12 in green screen, "work with links")
