2785382 - Barcode Scanning Returning Values With Additional Zero on iOS Devices

You have developed a custom Business Object (custom BO PDI) and enabled the bar code scanning for some fields. However, when reading barcodes using iOS devices (IPad and IPhone) you notice there is an additional zero in the beggining of the value.

The barcode scanning API used on iOS application has the behavior to return 13-digit UPC for a 12- digit EAN barcode input. Because of this the additional zero is appearing in the beginning of the value.

This is a system behavior. In this case the custom solution should be created in a way to know how to handle with these values.
