When creating a 1.9TB device to /sybase/<SID>/sapdata1  using SWPM, the result of ‘df’ command shows that the only 7.5Gb space of filesystem is used.

    /dev/mapper/<volume group> 2.0T 7.5G 1.9T 1% /sybase/<SID>/sapdata1

But the result of ‘ls -al’ command shows that the size of DB device is 1.9TB.

    ls -al /sybase/<SID>/sapdata1
