2785605 - Import of Employee Time not Working Correctly for Half Days

Symptom

After performing an import for Employee Time for a half day, a full day is displayed in Administer Time on the users profile.

Environment

Employee Central - Time-Off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Import and Export Data
  2. Select Download Template
  3. Select Employee Time for the field 'Select Generic Object'
  4. Select No for the fields 'Include dependencies' and 'Include Immutable IDs'
  5. Fill out the template and import it in Import and Export Data.

The imported Employee time shows as a full day rather than a half day.

Cause

This is caused by the template being filled out incorrectly and then imported.

Resolution

Please ensure that a value of 0.5 is added for the field fractionQuantity when importing Employee Time for half days.
