2786155 - Tax Rebate under Section 87A not getting calculated after Budget changes 2019-2020

Symptom

  • Income Tax  Rebate is not calculating as per statutory regulations for tax year 2019-20
  • No Rebate is given under Section 87A of the Income Tax Act WHICH has been increased from Rs.2,500 to Rs. 12,500, as per Budget 2019-20 changes, even though the Income of the employee is less than Rs.5,00,000.00
  • Wage type /437 is not calculated for the employee when Payroll is run
