The following error occurs when creating an SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, version for SAP NetWeaver (BPC NW) connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• An unexpected error occurred during plugin execution, please contact system administrator. {"code":"PLUGIN_EXECUTION_ERROR

• SAP Analytics Cloud

The BPC NW system was accessing an incorrect client.

Change the client by following this procedure:

1. Log into SAP Gui and open transaction SICF.
2. Navigate to the /sap/bpc service in the External Aliases view.
3. Under the Logon Data tab, select “Alternative Logon Procedure” and specify the client where BPC is installed under.
4. Click save.
