2786327 - A failure with a stacktrace in omni_exec_immediate() - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A client process is unexpectedly terminated when executing SET ROLE REPLICATION_ROLE ON.
  • ASE errorlog contains the following message with a stack trace:

Ct-library: Msg 0x05030506 Non-fatal (Layer=5 Origin=3 Severity=5 Number=6): ct_results(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect

  • The stacktrace includes the functions:

omni_exec_immediate
omni_sync_roles
dso_sync_roles
set_role
