2786892 - Reports and/or Search Criteria of 'Does not Contain' behavior

How does the 'Does not Contain' behavior work when using in report filters or on any other search?

'Does not Contain' criteria works only with a single keyword. This is the way the system was designed and works similar to all other criteria such as 'Contains', 'Starts With', etc.

Comma separated values will not work as the system sees it as a full string.

If using the 'Does not Contains', it will exclude anything else that has the information in the string.

Example:

1. Create Item ID BLEND and BLEND1
2. Go to Item search
3. Search for Item ID with 'Does not Contain' BLEND
4. BLEND and BLEND1 will not show up.

For Reports, the same information applies.

NOTE: 'Does not Contain' is a resource extensive query. In case a report times out, change filters.
