2786899 - Is it possible to hide fields shown when initiating an Offer Approval?

When initiating an Offer Approval for a candidate on their job application within a job req via Take Action > Offer Approval, the fields 'Status', 'Ad hoc approver', and 'Comment' are shown by default before selecting an Offer Template. Is it possible to hide these fields?

1. Go to the candidates within a requisition and choose a candidate to perform the offer approval
2. Select Take Action > Offer Approval on the top right-hand side
3. See the fields: 'Status', 'Ad hoc approver', and 'Comment'

It is not possible to hide the fields 'Status, Ad hoc approver, and Comment, before selecting an Offer Template.

When creating an offer approval, the reason these fields show is because the status and approver are mandatory fields and since there are no templates selected as yet at the beginning when going to Take Action >Offer Approval, the system still needs that information in case no template is selected since these are mandatory fields. This is why these fields will always show and there is no way to hide them.

After a template is selected, it will populate the approver based on the pre-defined workflow (if one is configured). Otherwise, this field needs to be filled manually.

The system does not know that there are approvers in the template/route map before selecting a template, so it has to be there at the beginning. This helps prevent from having an offer approval lost.

Also, what we can suggest is that if these fields need to be hidden at the beginning, an enhancement request may be submitted.
