2787010 - Primary Contact not Available in Sales Order Advance Search.

Symptom

You want to search by “Primary Contact” in Sales Orders Advance Search, but cannot add this field from Edit Master Layout.

Environment

SAP  Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales work center.
  2. Go to Sales Orders work center view.
  3. Select All and click on Advance Search.
  4. Try to add “Primary Contact” via Edit Master Layout, cannot not find this option in the Add Fields list.

Cause

“Primary Contact” is not supported in Sales Orders Advance Search.

Resolution

As a workaround, you can add Business Partner field by following the steps：

  1. Go to Sales Work center.
  2. Go to Sales Orders View.
  3.  Select Advance search Click on Edit master layout.
  4.  Click “Add Fields” in the Layout.
  5.  Go to facet Add Other Fields>>Expand the element Business Partner>>Select Business Partner ID.
