2787012 - Signal 11 in mbkt_do_alloc - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • A client connection is unexpectedly terminated.
  • The ASE errorlog contains an "infected with signal 11" error in the module mbkt_do_alloc together with a stack trace:

    Current process (0x44d0059) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x000000000215eedd (mbkt_do_alloc+0xd1d) ....
  • The stack trace includes the following functions:

    mbkt_do_alloc
    js__queue_jobid
    js_wakeup
