2787031 - Entity TenantRefresh is not found Error when submitting refresh via IRT

Symptom

Customer is receiving the following error below when submitting a refresh request via Instance Refresh Tool (IRT).

"Entity TenantRefresh is not found. Please check the entity in Admin Center > OData API Data Dictionary or contact your system administrator."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

1. Login to Source  Instance > Admin Center > Instance Refresh

2. Fill out necessary fields such as:

- Target Instance Details (complete instance pairing - IRT Admin Guide)

- Products to Refresh (HCM Suite is the only supported module for b1902)

- Schedule for the Refresh Date

- Dummy Email Address

3. Once completed, click "SUBMIT" button.

4. User will get the error "Entity TenantRefresh is not found. Please check the entity in Admin Center > OData API Data Dictionary or contact your system administrator".

Resolution

Please perform a OData Refresh for both Source and Target prior to submitting a refresh request via the tool.

1. Login to both SOURCE and TARGET instance

2. Go to Admin Center > Tool Search > OData API Metadata Refresh and Export

3. Click "Refresh" button beside Refresh Metadata Cache.

4. Try to submit a refresh request again via the tool.

 

NOTE: Issue will be resolved in b1905 release.
