2787374 - [ORD] Worklow Step Approver does not show in Current Step Role ID (Text)

Symptom

Reports created to report on Workflows to show the Current Step Role ID (Text) to identify the approver of the current step, show little or no data.

Environment

SuccessFactors Employee Central
SuccessFactors Advanced Reporting

Cause

Verify if there are Workflow groups allowed to approve the current step:

  1. Check an example from the report not showing the Current Step Role ID
  2. Lookup the user in "Manage Workflows"
  3. verify the Participants of the Workflow to see if there are only user names or groups as well

Resolution

The field hosting the information of the Group Name in Employee Central is "Current Step Users Group Name" for the current step, unless configured as something else or renamed.
