Symptom

When attempting to create a remote source for AWS Redshift using the CamelJDBCAdapter, you run into various errors:

  • dbcMetadataBrowser - Failed to query schemas.
    org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot load JDBC driver class
  • com.sap.hana.dp.adapter.sdk.AdapterException: Failed to query schemas. Context: org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create JDBC driver of class '<JDBC Driver Class>' for connect URL '<JDBC URL>'
  • SAP DBTech JDBC:[403]: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: Could not get tables
