2788543 - Tomcat runs out of memory when using jMeter

Symptom

  • After running a jmeter script continuously (Logging into BI Launchpad, opening a Web Intelligence Report, logging out) increases memory in tomcat until it fails with java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
  • Heap dump shows that the class consuming the memory is in java.util.concurrent.ConcurrentHashMap$Node[] which is in com.sap.webi.raylight.context.RaylightContextManager
