You are using standard Warehouse Monitor (Transaction /SCWM/MON) to show outbound deliveries and all relevant details, including underlying Sales Order, Purchase Order, etc.
You noticed that Sales Order is not displayed for outbound delivery order at the header level. Instead of sales order number, it says "Not Determined".
On the item level it is displaying correctly, which indicates that it is derived properly.
