2789078 - Succession Management - Not able to find Import / Export Positions options in Admin Center

• Not able to find the options to Import / Export Positions in Admin Center.
• Not able to grant permissions for Position Import & Export in Admin Center.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management - MDF Positions

• Go to Admin Center > Succession > the options "Position Management: Import Positions" and "Position Management: Export Positions".
• Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > select role > click "Permission..." > in the "Manage Succession" section, the permission "Position Import & Export" is not available.  

These Position Import options should only be available for Legacy Positions nomination method and, with b1905 (Q2 2019) release, a usability enhancement was implemented to hide these options if the instance is configured with MDF Positions.

If the instance is configured with Legacy Positions and these options are not available, check if all the required settings have been enabled in provisioning: Succession Implementation Guide - Provisioning Settings for Legacy Position Nominations.

If the instance is configured with MDF Positions, you should use the MDF tools to manage position data. To import / export positions, you should use the Admin Center > Import and Export Data tool.
