2789121 - 1905 Support Hire Date Correction For Time Off

Symptom

Support hire date correction in time off.

Environment

Successfactors - Employee Central Time off

Resolution

  • Hire date correction was not supported in time off until 1905. (For details on hire date correction, refer KBA 2636395.
  • From 1905, hire date correction will also correct the time account's validity and bookable start date.

Steps

  • Hire employee on a future date.

  • Note that the time accounts are also created from the hired date.

  • Admin Center -> Hire Date Correction -> set a new hire date.

  • Once successful, the time acccount's validity/bookable start date are also changed.

Note: If the newly changed hire date is greater than than the current/existing hire date, then below is the behavior:

 
Move Hire Date to the future 
i.e From Feb 15, 2018 to Feb 22, 2018 
Permanent Accounts
Validity unchanged.
Accruals recalculated.
 
Fix Date Accounts
Validity unchanged.
Accruals Recalculated.
 
Hire Date Accounts
Validity gets adapted if :
Time Account is not in the past.
Eg:: Feb 22, 2018 - Feb 21, 2019
 
Flex Date Accounts
Validity gets adapted(when the start date = rehire date)
Feb 22, 2018 - Feb 21, 2019 (without rehire)  
Feb 22, 2018 - Jun 30, 2019 &  Jul 1, 2019 - Jun 30, 2020 (with rehire i.e if rehire date is 1st Jul 2019)
