2789143 - Business Configuration Deployment Error

You encounter an error while performing deploy business configuration in SAP Cloud Application Studio.

1.   Login to SAP Cloud Application Studio.
2.   Open Solution YABC123456 ( YABC123456 stands for solution name).
3.   Right Click solution and choose Deploy Business Configuration.
4.   Error appears.
5.   BC Deployment failed.

If the status of your project is closed which means the Business Configuration cannot be edited anymore to preserve consistency. As you are trying to deploy business configuration from cloud application studio and trying to add content to main workspace it will fail.

You should have an active project in your Business Configuration implementation project then do a deployment of business configuration it will work.

OR

You should create a new Change Project in the Business Configuration work centre.

This would then allow the content to be deployed successfully in your project.
