2789170 - Add Expand / Collapse Button to Section Groups and Embedded Components

You want to add a button to expand / collapse a Section Group or an Embedded Component.

Prerequisite is that the corresponding section group or the corresponding embedded component pane have a stable anchor.

1. Logon on FIORI.
2. Go to the screen you want to add this option.
3. Click on user menu, on top right.
4. Click Start Adaptation.
5. On the right menu that appears, select the section you want to enhance.

See the below screenshot, showing how and where to add this option.

 

In New smartphone layout, only first pane is expanded by default while others are supposed to be in collapsed state.
It doesn't consider the adaptation properties as new smartphone layout has different logic.
