2789200 - Enhancement of email notification for failed Position Export Job

As of b1905 (Q2 2019) release, the email notification for Position Export, informing that the schedule job on Provisioning failed to complete, will contain more information as to why the job failed, when using MDF Position nomination method.

In Provisioning, when using the legacy job type "Export Positions", to export MDF positions, the job owner receives an email informing that the job failed, as the job type "Export Positions" is exclusive for Legacy Positions export. Instances with MDF Position nomination method, and the scheduled job "Export Positions" configured, will receive an email notifying the failure to complete the action.

Previously, if users misuse the legacy job type to export MDF positions, the job owner only received a generic email informing about failed job, without much information and reasons why.

With the b1905 (Q2 2019), the email notification will contain information on why the job failed, with following message:

"The "Export Positions" job type is for exporting legacy positions. Do not use the type to export MDF positions."

To prevent this email notification, it is necessary to inactivate the scheduled job to export Legacy Positions. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your Implementation Partner. If you are no longer working with an Implementation Partner, contact SAP Cloud Support.

Cancel the scheduled job of type "Export Positions" in Provisioning > Manage Scheduled Jobs.
