2789231 - Error When Creating a New Customer Return Notification

The Product AAA was delivered to one site in Sales Order CCC, however you would like to return this product to another site BBB. However, you face the error:

Warehouse provider DDD differs from warehouse provider EEE for site BBB. Both warehouse providers must be the same.

AAA – Product ID.

BBB – Site ID.

CCC – Sales Order ID.

DDD – Warehouse Provider ID.

EEE – Warehouse Provider ID.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Select New Customer Return Notification common task.
3. Click Next.
4. Enter the Delivery Notification ID.
5. Add Row.
6. Enter the Product ID AAA.
7. Enter the quantity.
8. Fulfill the Sales Order CCC and Sales Order Item ID.
9. Enter the Ship-to Party and Ship-to Location BBB.
10. The error is displayed:

As a workaround for this error, you can enter the Ship-to Party and Ship-to Location before adding the product.

1. Go to Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Select New Customer Return Notification common task.
3. Click Next.
4. Enter the Delivery Notification ID.
5. Enter the Ship-to Party and Ship-to Location BBB.
6. Add Row.
7. Enter the Product ID AAA.
8. Enter the quantity.
9. Fulfill the Sales Order CCC and Sales Order Item ID.
10. Click Next.
11. Select Finish.
