- Go to Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Classes
- Search for the Class ID and open it
- Notice the number of registered users with Active Enrollment on the "Registrations" tab
- Under Actions, click on 'Add to Learning History'
- Notice that the number of users appearing does not match with the number of registered users
Compare the list of users to one of the followings:
- Learning Administration > Manage User Learning > Add Learning History for Multiple Courses
- Select entity type Class > add the Class entity
- On the Users side, select button "Auto Fill From Registration"
- Notice that the list of users matches with the number of registered users on the Class
OR
- Learning Administration > Manage User Learning > Add Learning History with Finance
- Select entity type Class > add the Class entity > Next
- Define Completion status > Next
- Notice that the list of users matches with the number of registered users on the Class
Cause
The Add to Learning History option on the Class shows the list of users who do not have a recorded learning event yet + users with "not-for-credit" completion status.
Resolution
- The Add to Learning History option on the Class shows the list of users who do not have a recorded learning event yet + users with "not-for-credit" completion status.
- The feature Add Learning History for Multiple Courses OR Add Learning History with Finance has no validation check on users who have already been marked with a "For Credit" completion status.
Therefore, the discrepancy in user list is caused by those users who have already been given a "For Credit" completion status.
