Symptom

  • You are installing a High Availability system with Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM)
  • The selection made in SWPM is:
<SAP Product> -> <Database> -> Installation -> Application Server ABAP -> High Availability -> Prepare Additional Host
  • The following error is encountered:

ERROR 2019-05-01 14:03:32.527 (root/sapinst) (startInstallation) [CSiComponentSet.cpp:581] id=controller.xmlToObject.noSuchToplevelComponentType errno=FCO-00104 CSiComponentSet::getComponentAndResolveReferences()
Missing top-level component definition. DETAILS: Component with ID nw_prepare_additional_host|ind|ind|ind|ind should be used as top-level component but there is no such component. SOLUTION: Contact SAP Support.
