Symptom

  • While installing a High Availability system using Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) the following error is encountered:

ERROR 2019-05-01 14:03:32.527 (root/sapinst) (startInstallation) [CSiComponentSet.cpp:581] id=controller.xmlToObject.noSuchToplevelComponentType errno=FCO-00104 CSiComponentSet::getComponentAndResolveReferences()
Missing top-level component definition. DETAILS: Component with ID nw_prepare_additional_host|ind|ind|ind|ind should be used as top-level component but there is no such component. SOLUTION: Contact SAP Support.
