2789776 - Rule Function Has Allowances In Period()

Symptom

  • As of 1905 successFactors now provides a function where you can check whether the employee has allowances in the given period.
  • This rule is intended for scenarios where you can  raise an error message to prevent creation of leaves or attendances if the employee has some specific allowance during that period.

Resolution

  • This function is intended to be used as part of the Time Management scenarios to be more specific in the Absence Validation scenario.
  • Below you can see an example on how to configure this rule:

  • In this scenario the business rule would be assigned as a Take rule on the time type where I want an error message to be triggered. For example, if I assign this business Rule a sick leave Time Type then when I request that leave if I have the allowance defined in the business rule then an erro message will be triggered.
