How to manage "My Number" in SuccessFactors for Japanese Customer?

Employee Central - Localization.
Resolution
As of now, we do not have any plan to implement this feature in Employee Central. However, below are some queries for 'My Number' features.
Query 1 : In Employee Central, is it possible to manage "My Number" with encryption?
No, we don’t have such a option in EC side to encrypt data. We have the pii function in the Succession Data Model but this only to make the data shown with **** on the UI.
Query 2 : In Japan, are there any cases to manage "My Number" in Employee Central? (Without using EC Pay)
We should not pick up “My Number” as one of the National IDs for Japanese country version because of the functional scope of EC. “My Number” is allowed to collect and store for the stipulated purposes only. Within EC scope, “My Number” is not used because we have no Social Insurance nor Tax status information on EC and it’s impossible to output any statutory report for Social insurance or Tax. That is reason why “My Number” should be covered by EC payroll side, not in EC. Some customers may want to keep some basic data for Social insurance and Tax on EC when they use BPO for payroll, without using any payroll software. Such customers may keep their necessary data with using MDF, and it might be ok to configure National ID field for “My Number”, but this won't be covered as standard.
