2790166 - Obsolete Checkbox for Reports

Symptom

You cannot tick or select the Obsolete checkbox for reports, data sources and other Business Analytics objects.

Environment

  • C4C Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics.
  2. Go to Design Reports or Design Data Sources.
  3. Try to tick the Obsolete checkbox.
  4. You notice that you cannot tick or select this checkbox.

Cause

The Obsolete checkbox is only used when we at SAP are phasing out reports.

It helps to indicate that certain reports are being phased out and not to be used in the future.

If you do not have the Obsolete checkbox on your UI screen it must be added via Adaptation mode in C4C and via Personalisation in Business ByDesign.
