2790266 - Error when trying to save time type: Event Reason does not refer to the Leave of Absence plan event.

You are trying to save any change in a time type and you are getting an error message as the example below:

"Event reason [event-reason name] does not refer to the Leave of Absence plan event."

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - All Versions

1. Go to Manage Time Off Structures;
2. Try to edit a time type;
3. Get the mentioned error when saving it;

Wrong event selected in the event reason.

When you are creating the event reason you must assign the Leave of Absence event (external code 10 in the event picklist).

If you rename any other event as LOA and by mistake assign it to your event reason where the
