2790298 - User Management activity of Define CA Introscope fails with lack of authorization

Symptom

When try to perform the User Management activity in SOLMAN_SETUP, step 4. Define CA Introscope you see one of the following messages on the SMDAgentApplication.log from the Diagnostics Agent running on Enterprise Manager host:

  • Unexcepted error occurs in method Em users generation failed  cause by: Unexpected error occurs in task execution. (detail: com.sap.smd.agent.wily.emsetup.exception.SetupTaskActionException: File /usr/sap/ccms/apmintroscope/config/users.xml is not writable !).

  • Unexpected error occurs in method Em users generation failed cause by: Unexpected error occurs in task execution. (detail: com.sap.smd.agent.wily.emsetup.exception.SetupTaskActionException: File /usr/sap/EMQ/wilyintroscope/config/domains.xml is not writable!)

  • Error Error occurs in task during Single Setup Task Executor installation[EXCEPTION]com.sap.smd.agent.wily.emsetup.exception.SetupTaskActionException: Error writing file; nested exception is:  java.io.FileNotFoundException: <LOCAL_DISK>:\usr\sap\ccms\apmintroscope\MOM\config\users.xml (Access is denied)
