2790327 - Purchasing unit or Buyer responsible in Purchase request is not passed on to Purchase order

Though you have maintained Carry from Purchase Requests in business configuration activity "Involved Parties for Purchase Requests and Orders" for automatically created Purchase orders, system still takes what is maintained for manually created Purchase orders in business configuration activity "Involved Parties for Purchase Requests and Orders".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase request and orders work center
2. Go to Purchase request
3. Select Purchase request/Purchase requests
4. Click on Bundle and order
5. Open the Purchase order

In your case Purchase order is either created through manual Purchase order option or through bundle and order where the Bundle and order is a manual action on the UI. Also, mass data run just helps to do mass processing for this action, so we do not consider the Bundle and order mass data run as automatic PO creation, hence system takes what is maintained for manually created Purchase orders in BC  activity"Involved Parties for Purchase Requests and Orders".

If your Purchase order is created as described below then it's called automatic purchase order. Then  system will take what is maintained for Automatically created Purchase orders in BC  activity"Involved Parties for Purchase Requests and Orders".

After having this configuration done you will see that automatic Purchase orders will get generated in below scenarios if all sufficient details are maintained.

1.In Third party scenario from Sales order

2.From Planning purchase request

3.In Projects from Project purchase request

4.From Shopping carts and later from PR when source of supply is maintained

5.Manual Purchase request when source of supply is maintained

hence system takes what is maintained for manually created Purchase orders in BC  activity"Involved Parties for Purchase Requests and Orders".

also system will take what is maintained for Automatically created Purchase orders in BC  activity"Involved Parties for Purchase Requests and Orders".
