2790414 - Position Workflow not triggered when using "Initiator Position" as a Position Relationship

• Under the Workflow Participant types, Position Relationship can be used to route Workflow requests to participants under selected position hierarchy.
• In the workflow configured set to trigger upon a Position Object, when using "Approver Type=Position Relationship" and "Relationship to Approver=Initiator Position", no Workflow gets triggered.

1. Configure a Workflow, set to be triggered upon Position object with the following configuration :

• Approver Type=Position Relationship
• Relationship to Approver=Initiator Position

2. Upon a change made to the position object, the expectation is to trigger a Workflow to the workflow initiator's position but no Workflow gets triggered

This issue has been identified as a Enhancement rather than a bug and is logged under : ECT-115455

Please reach out to your CSM's for updates on progress on this Enhancement

• For position workflow, the relationship to approver should be chosen as "Position" in case you choose "Position Relationship".
• The other two options :  "Initiator Position" and "Employee Position" are currently not supported for a Position Workflow.
• There is currently no target Fix scheduled for this issue. It is being reviewed by our Product Group as a potential Enhancement for future release
