Symptom

HANA Server connection is not available or timed out after upgrade to SUSE 15

Sample Error from HANA Studio:

com.sap.ndb.studio.sapcontrol.SAPControlException: SAPControl request failed
Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect (local port 63837 to address 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0, remote port 5<SID>13 to address <YOUR HANA IP>)

com.sap.ndb.studio.jdbc.JDBCConnectionStatus: Database connection is not available; see error log
Caused by: com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://<YOUR HANA IP> [Cannot connect to host <YOUR HANA IP>:3<SID>13 [Connection timed out: connect (local port 63845 to address 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0, remote port 3<SID>13 to address <YOUR HANA IP> (null))], -813.].
