2790833 - Maintain RFCs: Admin users passwords cannot be saved so "No status update; no managed system admin user for system" is displayed - SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Symptom

After Solution Manager system copy, try to perform Managed System Configuration for SolMan system and on Maintain RFCs step, the passwords for managed System Admin User and Solution Manager Admin users seem to be saved, but they are not there after changing the step.

The passwords for the users were not stored, what results on following behaviors so the RFCs cannot be correctly maintained:

  • Create:
Warning BACK RFC destination cannot be checked
Warning No status update; no managed system admin user for system <SID>, client <CLI>
  • Update roles:
Error No status update; no managed system admin user for system <SID>, client <CLI>. Diagnosis There is no 'Managed System Administrator' user and password for the selected system and client. System Response The status of the users can't be calculated. Procedure Define the 'Managed System Administrator' user and password.
Error User SM_<SID> does not exist in system <SID>~ABAP~<CLI>
