2790855 - Error for Lead in Data Workbench: Changing not Possible; Field is Read-Only

You are unable to insert a lead via Data Workbench.

Error: Changing  not possible; field is read-only|Changing  not possible; field is read-only|Changing  not possible; field is read-only|Changing  not possible; field is read-only

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Data Workbench work center
2. Click on tab Import
3. Search for Lead
4. Click on Next
5. Upload your file
6. Click on Next until you see that the data validation has been done
7. Click on Import
8. Click on tab Monitor
9. Open the error file
10. In the last column, you will find the following error message: Changing not possible; field is read-only|Changing not possible; field is read-only|Changing not possible; field is read-only|Changing not possible; field is read-only

To insert a lead successfully, it is required to link the lead to an account.

You need to enter Account ID in the field Account_Party_ID of the Lead template.
