2790863 - WebGUI/Web Dynpro apps configured via LPD_CUST fail when launched via Fiori Launchpad

When launched via Fiori Launchpad, apps that were configured using LPD_CUST ("SAP Fiori App using LPD_CUST" in Target Mappings), the app fails to load.

• The following error shows via the browser:
  Service cannot be reached
  
  What has happened?
  URL call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
  
  Note
  The termination occurred in system with error code 404 and for the reason Not Found.
• The following can be noticed via the browser network trace:
  A 404 response to a request with the following format (notice the protocol/server/port are duplicated): 
• http://<server>:<port>/http<server>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=...
  or
• http://<server>:<port>/http<server>:<port>/sap/bc/ui2/nwbc/~canvas;window=app/wda/...

*Note, the provided examples are for the most common types, SAP GUI for HTML and Web Dynpro, but this issue may occur for other application types configured via LPD_CUST.
