2791102 - Decimal values for Manual Adjustments get changed for Hourly Time Account Types after they are posted to the account

Symptom

  • When entering a manual adjustment on a hourly time account type, the decimal value gets modified after the Adjustment.
  • For Example, when an amount of 5.30 is entered from the 'Add Manual Adjustment" button, on saving the entered value, the amount gets reset as 5.18 on the account posting.
  • Why is the amount is getting reset and stored differently compared to what was entered.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite- All Versions
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - All Versions

Cause

This is an Expected behavior

Resolution

  • The system, while saving the value, saves it as a fraction of 60 minutes
  • For the above example, the calculation goes :  0.30 *60 = 18. Hence, the expectation would be to see a value of 5.18 on the account posting
